Reminders for the Week:

*This week, our students in 3rd-8th grades will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Each class will attend the 8:00 AM Mass on their scheduled day for confession.
*Wristbands are on sale for our October 3rd St. Jerome Festival
*Pretzel orders for October are due by this Thursday.
*Milk orders for October and November are due this Thursday.
*Back to School Night for 1st-8th grades (our Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers had the opportunity to give their presentations during the orientation sessions)will be Tuesday at 6:30 PM in the Church, followed by time in the classrooms. Please enter the Church through the front doors (by the Parish Green & Rectory).
*Our Faith Formation Director, Mrs. Janet Fiatoa invites , if you and your child are inquiring about the sacraments because he/she has not followed the traditional path for the reception of the sacraments. Please complete the electronic form here, with as much of the information as possible, or the paper form included below, and return by September 20th. After receiving this form from you, she will reach out and we can talk about the most welcoming path to your child’s full communion with the Church. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Fiatoa at dff@stjeromechurchphila.org.
*Registration for our St. Jerome Stingrays Swim Team (Grades K-9) will be held this month at Winchester Wednesday. We are extremely proud of our swim program. Student Health Reminders
If your child tests positive for COVID-19 or is a close contact to a person who tests positive for COVID-19, please contact us. We will seek advisement from the Philadelphia Department of Health and give you direction.
Our reopening plan calls on every member of the school community to support our values of mutual respect, integrity, willingness to sacrifice for the common good and foster community bonds across generations. Commitment to the policies will assist in protecting the health and welfare of all members of our school community.
In an effort to keep all children safe, we ask that Parents monitor their children’s Health daily. Below are the expectations related to the health monitoring.
I attest to :
Fever of 100.4 or above,
chills,
Cough,
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing,
Fatigue,
Muscle or body aches,
Headache,
New loss of taste or smell,
Sore throat,
Congestion or runny nose,
Nausea or vomiting,
Diarrhea,
My child has not had any contact with anyone with COVID
I am following all CDC recommended guidelines and limiting my/my child’s exposure to risks such as above
If any of these symptoms present, please keep your child from school and contact the school. If the symptoms are serious please seek immediate medical attention.
We will keep you informed if the list of symptoms, listed above, changes in any way.
