Oakland Raiders Background

The Oakland Raiders are a professional American football franchise that are located in Oakland, California. The Oakland Raiders were founded in 1960, and began playing in the American Football League (AFL). Since 1963, the Oakland Raiders have won 15 division titles, three Superbowls, four AFC titles, and an AFL Championship. The Oakland Raiders not only won several titles and awards, but they have placed 13 former players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Ticket Information: Tickets to the Oakland Raiders games range between $35 to $175 depending on the game. Tickets can be located and purchased at http://www.raiders.com/tickets/single-game-tickets.html.


Parking: Prices fluctuate due to the type of vehicle being parked. Prices for cars is $35 and for RV/Busses the price is $75. Parking gates open 5 hours prior to the game and the stadium gates open 2 hours prior to the game.


Tailgating: The Oakland Alameda Coliseum has a fully renovated parking lot that is full of tailgates during game days. The most popular parking lots for tailgating is lot A and lot B. Each vehicle must confine their tailgating gear to their own individual space and extra spaces cannot be purchased for tailgating.

    • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AIRPORT DR.,then Turn RIGHT onto HEGENBERGER RD. (east)
    • Turn LEFT onto S COLISEUM WAY. Approximate mileage - 3.0 miles
  • From San Francisco International Airport

    • Take the US-101 NORTH/I-380 WEST ramp towards SAN FRANCISCO(I-280)/SAN BRUNO
    • Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp
    • Merge onto US-101 N. US-101 N becomes US-101 N/JAMES LICK FRWY
    • Stay straight to go onto US-101 N
    • Take I-80 E towards BAY BRIDGE/OAKLAND/SEVENTH ST/(US-101 NORTH)
    • Merge onto I-80 E. I-80 E becomes I-80 E/BAY BRIDGE

    • Take I-880 SOUTH RAMP towards ALAMEDA/AIRPORT/SAN JOSE

    • Richmond-San Rafael Bridge to Interstate 580
