Busy Scientists
4th Grade Science
We are learning about animals' adaptations (physical, behavioral, and psychological). As part of this unit, students have been given the rubric on their next group project: creating a model of a specific animal habitat, which is due on February 19, 2019.
5th Grade Science
We are learning about the different organ systems in our bodies: nervous, circulatory, respiratory, immune, etc. As a group project for this unit, students are asked to combine the name of a cereal and a specific organ system and creating a "new cereal" explaining the details of that particular organ system. These "Organ System Cereal" Projects will be due in late February.
6th, 7th and 8th Grade Science
Each of these grade levels are currently presenting their Science Fair Projects this week. They were asked to select a a topic/research question they are curious about and apply the scientific method. All students were expected to complete a tri-board and a research report that outlined the details of their experiment and findings. Projects were done creatively and thoroughly! Way to go future scientists!
