Stories of Service
In 2012’s Season of Service, 370 volunteers from Bayside of South Sacramento participated in a one day outpouring of love. The volunteers gave provisions to the homeless, renovated an after-school program and charter school in Oak Park, and prepared and served meals at St. John’s Shelter for Women and Children. Watch the video below to see what happened!

Servant Spotlight
Tammy Vallejo is the founder and president of the E49 Corporation. The role of E49 is to be a “Hub” in the community, resourcing and mobilizing civic, business, non-profit, church and community leaders in the Sacramento Region and also to serve the vulnerable through collaborative initiatives like Day of Hope, a one-day region focused event to meet the physical and spiritual needs of a particular community. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Tammy has recently established a co-serving space called Suite 2:10 which offers work space and networking areas for service leaders with the purpose of increasing collaborative responses to the critical needs of our region.
Tammy is also the Broker and Owner of Real Estate with a Purpose and has held Broker Associate position with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Millennium Real Estate Services. Tammy is passionate about the Church stepping out and being part of the answer to the brokenness and hurt of the world and has dedicated herself to networking and mobilizing others towards this end. We are blessed to have Tammy as part of the advisory team for the Serve Sacramento initiative as she is such a powerful leader and net-worker for the Kingdom of God in our city.
