Math- We are working on solving problems that require more than one step using multiple strategies (such as counting on, using number bonds, finding 10's and drawing pictures).

Reading/Science- We will be working on completing our light and sound unit.

We will continue to work on using capitals and punctuation correctly in our writing with our focus still on writing about our opinions.

Social Studies- We will continue our focus on goods, services, producers and consumers.


Please read 10 minutes each night for a total of 50 minutes for the week. If you miss a night you can make it up throughout the week or on the weekend. Please return reading logs on Monday the 7th. If they are using Raz-Kids they can include that time on their reading log.

Our library check-out is Friday so please return all books by Thursday or Friday.

1st grade students check-out three books each week and bring home one book at a time.
