Loving Every Minute of Learning...
Dodson’s Dish
It is Teacher Appreciation Week! I enjoy my staff on a day to day basis, but this is the week I get to show them extra love. I can’t express to them enough how proud I am of them. Teaching is a true calling. Not a job that you can decide that you just want to do. The great stay in the profession to help build our future. The great know that it is not a 9 month job, with summers off. The great understand that it is not a job that you clock in at 7:20 and you leave at 3:20. That great understand that they didn’t get into the profession because of the money. The great understand that they are an educator to help build our future. I encourage you to take a moment to reach out to one of your teachers that you personally had in your life and tell them THANK YOU!
Top 10 Reasons Why Mrs. Dodson’s loves her faculty and staff!
9. They are models for our district. I can’t tell you how often other campuses come out to learn from them. They are such ROCK STARS. You often see other teachers learning form them.
8. They are hard workers!
7. They serve our kiddos.
6. They are bucket fillers
5. They are dream builders!
4. They share their experience with students, to make learning fun!
3. They build relationships with students and families.
2. They laugh with kids!
1. They model learning with pride!
I hope each of you had a fantastic Teacher Appreciation Week. You deserve it.
Peace and Love,
Serita Dodson
