Principal's Message:
Hello Bulldog Families,
The first two weeks of the new school year have been a whirlwind of enthusiasm, learning, and growth, and I couldn't be more thankful to have amazing students, parents, and staff members. I would like to specifically thank each student and parent who contributed to the incredible first 7 days of school! Your communication, preparedness, and flexibility has not only made the start of the school year a smooth transition but has set the foundation for a successful school year. As we move forward, I am filled with excitement about the endless possibilities that this school year holds. Our theme this year is to “Level Up,” and build on the success Raymond B. Stewart Middle School had last year.
Important announcements:
All students have access to FREE breakfast and lunch. Students may purchase additional snacks at lunch.
Safe and supervised student pick-up and drop-off is at the corner of 10th Ave and 10th St. Please do not drop off or pick-up students on the other corners of our campus. Please also be aware that at the beginning and end of the day, 17th street turns into our bus loop and non-school vehicles should not be in these areas.
We are excited to announce that the Sarah Vandeberg Tennis Foundation will begin their free tennis and education program on Monday August 28th. The program will be every Monday and Wednesday 2:00 to 3:30 PM until October 19th. Any student interested in the program needs to pick up a permission slip from the back or front office, have it signed by a parent, and returned to Ms. Bjorkner in the back office. The first 30 students to return the permission slip will be able to participate in the program.
Thank you once again for an amazing start to the school year and being our partner in your child’s education!
