What's going on in our neck of the woods

Big picture

February 6th!

Tacos @ 5 p.m.

Classroom Visits @ 6 p.m.

Open House is held during Spring Semester. Parents, students, and family members are invited to visit classrooms during the event. Students can show their families what they've been doing in class, introduce them to their teachers, and are welcome to visit any classroom. We hope your visit to our classrooms will give you a glimpse of all the hard work and effort by our students and faculty during the school year.

February 7th will be a minimum day. School will be dismissed at 2 p.m.

Tutorial Time

Every school day, Monday - Thursday, all teachers are available in their classrooms to provide academic assistance for students before lunch. If your child earned any grades at or below C level last semester, I strongly recommend they take advantage of this resource.

Eligibility for eSports, Orienteering, Robotics, etc.

To participate in extra/co-curricular activities, a student must meet the following criteria based on grades and citizenship marks from an official grading period report. Grades and citizenship marks will be checked after teachers have submitted them, and the registrar has conducted a verification. Eligibility periods will begin on the Monday following verification.

  • Minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA
  • Passing all classes with a "C" or higher
  • All Citizenship marks "O" or "S"
  • In good standing with the Tardy Policy

A probation period is available to some students who are not eligible. Probation will last for one grading period only. A student is allowed a total of three probations during their four years of high school. To be eligible for Probation, the following criteria must be met.

  • Student must be passing all classes with a "C" or higher.
  • Student must have been Eligible prior to using Probation.
  • Student must be in good standing with the Tardy Policy.

If a student does not meet minimum Eligibility requirements, and they are not eligible for Probation, they will be deemed Ineligible. Ineligible students will be removed from their activity. They will not be able to travel with their teams/clubs or be on the field of play during games/competitions.

These guidelines affect participation in (but are not limited to) the following Extra-Curricular Activities: all Team Sports, Clubs, ASB, and Class Officers.
