Halo Highlight: Administrative Update

Dear Saints Families,

I am humbled and honored to accept the position as interim administrator, or acting principal at St. Louis Catholic High School. As a former principal with more than 25 years of experience in education, I fully understand the task at hand, so I ask for prayers and support for our school, for our faculty & staff, and most of all for our students. We will move forward with our strategic plan and focus on improving our already strong academics. It is also a top priority to maintain a safe and efficient school environment. However, the #1 priority will ALWAYS be your children – our Saints!

I will leave you with the following scripture that has always kept me grounded:
When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, ”Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. Luke 5:4-6

St. Louis Catholic community, let us all unite and let down our nets to catch the abundance of God’s riches and blessings. Have a blessed weekend ahead.

AP Reminders for Parents and Students

As of the end of last week, over 25 students had still not enrolled in their AP course. These students and their parents should have received an email from Ms. Tricia Barrow or a conversation from their teacher instructing them to attempt enrollment on their cell phone or to call the student hotline directly at 888-225-5427. PLEASE take care of this issue.

If you have a FACTS account, please follow these instructions to submit your AP payment by Friday, Sept. 27.

1. Log into FACTS.

2. Under “Payment Plan and Billing,” you will see a total balance, payment plan, and incidental expenses. Note: AP fees are listed under incidental expenses.

3. Select “Make a Payment.” Note: At this time, you cannot auto draft for incidental expenses; you can enroll in auto draft, but that option can not be applied until next year’s AP payment.

4. Click “Other Amount.”

5. Under “Other Payment Options,” check the September 27 Incidental Expenses box; the amount should populate for you.

6. Follow the remainder prompts to submit/confirm your payment. Thanks so much for your patience, as we are learning a new FACTS feature!
