St. Stanislaus STAR
February 17 , 2016
FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Let us give thanks for our warmer weather. Students and teachers are so ready for outside recess!
Today we welcome Sr. Celly Ann Amparano as our music teacher. This School Sister of Notre Dame comes to us with many years’ experiences working in Catholic schools as a music teacher and as a principal. She will be teaching music here on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and will assist with our school liturgies. She also spends her time working as a Hispanic Outreach Consultant for the diocese. Join me in welcoming her to our school community.
This week we begin the registration process for the 2016-2017 school year. An envelope is being sent home with your child that includes the Option C Registration 2016-2017 and directions for re-registering your child(dren). We are happy to announce that admission fees for the next school year have not been changed. Thank you for your attention to this form which is due back to the school office by March 1st.
With today’s STAR you will find information regarding the St. Louis Cardinal game on July 7. Please read carefully and respond accordingly. I am thankful for the teachers who are organizing and putting the details to this exciting opportunity to honor Miss Hirsch. Should you have questions, please contact one of the teachers listed on the letter.
A decision about school for next Friday, will be made by the end of this week. If the decision is made to be out of session on Friday, Feb. 26, a parent alert will be sent out. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Have a blessed day!

Shooters Qualifying On Their Own For State This Year:
Overall it has a been a great season for our archers. We still have much work to get to the level we want to perform at for State. Our goal is to get both teams to the National Tournament in Kentucky this year. Wish them luck and encourage them if you see them.
