East Penn Water Bottle Fundraiser...Help save lives! …Last chance to take orders
East Penn Water Bottle Fundraiser …check out this video to see how you can make a difference! https://youtu.be/8ha7kbetHa0
We are taking pre-orders for our water bottle fundraiser. Please complete the form below to pre-order a water bottle. The fundraiser will be open from February 1, 2017 through February 28, 2017. Orders will be available for pick up at Eyer Middle School by March 31st.
We are doing this fundraiser in honor of Sean Boyle, an Eyer 8th Grade Social Studies teacher currently serving the U.S. military in East Africa. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to help us fund a well through waterboys.org, and send a Polaroid camera, film, and batteries to the military base where Mr. Boyle is stationed, so they may help each child form a better self identity through the simple act of giving them photographs of themselves.
Please help us reach our goal! Eyer’s February Character Trait is “Service,” and we wish to exemplify this trait with our fundraiser!

Although the weather may be getting warmer...please send the students with a warm coat. Some students go out to recess before the temps get warm...a jacket is often not enough.

HEALTH ROOM HAPPENINGS
Hello everyone! I just have a few reminders since we have been in school for almost ½ of the school year already.
Please remember that:
1. We need parent excuses for any absence or tardy. If your child has been out of school longer than 3 school days the district is requiring a Dr. note or excuse, if you have any questions please feel free to call or email myself or your student’s teacher.
2. Please remember, if your child has been running a temperature above 100 degrees, they must be fever free for at least 24 hours without the aid of Tylenol or Motrin before returning to school.
3. If your student has been vomiting please keep them at home until they have not vomited for 12 hours and have been able to keep food in their stomach.
4. Please remember that you should be aware that head lice do occur within the school setting the same as outside the school. If you have any questions regarding if your child has head lice, or treatment of it, please feel free to contact me.
5. FYI, at the present time we are seeing a stomach virus, respiratory virus with a high fever and the flu in the health room. I just like to let parents know, so you are aware.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 610-965-1587. Thank you for all you do and for sharing your children with us!
