Upcoming Play - Clue

Despite CDL, the Centennial High School Theatre Arts Department is proud to announce it's winter production of Clue: (High School Edition) Stay-at-Home Version. Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out... WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT! Tickets for the On-Demand Stream are available by clicking here: CHS Clue Streaming Tickets. Tickets are $9.99 + a $2.95 streaming fee. Once you purchase a ticket, you can stream anytime between Feb. 26, 2021 @ 7pm and Feb. 28, 2021 @ 6:59pm. We hope you will be able to watch and have a good laugh!!

Choir at CHS

We have multiple choirs at CHS. Performing is more difficult during CDL, it takes a talented and technologically sophisticated choir director and excellent performances by students. Luckily we have both at CHS.

The technological sophistication is due to taking individual performances and mixing them to create the sound of the entire choir. Our choir and choir director put together a performance of the National Anthem and "You Are the New Day". It was such a delight to see our students creating music again.

Some of the students were only able to contribute audio; some were able to contribute audio and visual performances. Please enjoy their performance, we certainly did.

Third Quad Bell Schedule and Calendar

We are starting the third Quad on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021. Most students will have four classes plus an Advisory class. Here is a link to the "Bell Schedule" for the third Quad.

We also have some days off of school with President's Day and Student, Teacher, Parent conferences coming up. Here is a link to the CHS Calendar for the year.

Thoughts on Attendance

When we reduce chronic absence we improve graduation rates, increase academic achievement and give young people the best chance at success in their adult life. We also know that strong relationships motivate students to participate in learning even when it isn’t easy.

We are here to help! During Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) we have developed a theme to guide our attendance work. Our theme has been “Present, Engaged, and Supported,” together we can make a difference and help our students find success for life.

Conferences February 16th and February 17th

These conferences are student-led and will generally take 15 - 20 minutes of your time. This will really let you know how your student is doing academically. It will also give you a chance to connect with your student's Advisory teacher. The conferences are done via Zoom. It will be the Zoom link for your student's Advisory class.
