Less Than Fantastic
A Critic's Writing on Latin America
Venezuela's Less Than Fantastic Government
The government of Venezuela is very similar to other Latin America countries. The chief executive of Venezuela is the President of Venezuela, who is both the head of state and the head of government. The president of Venezuela is none-other-than, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who was elected in 2013. The president servers in six-year terms and elects the vice-president. The type of government is a Presidential Democracy. The system of government is a Federal Republic. Even though the Venezuelien government doesn't seem corrupt, it is still a little corrupt. One big issue of the Venesuelien government is that they will do anything for money. Venezuela wants to be so wealthy, so they put major problems to the side. That is a big mistake for the Venesuelien government. This is the similar, yet different, government of Venezuela.
The Less Than Fantastic Economy of Cuba
Cuba is one of the most infamous countries in Latin America. It is a communist country, with command economy. Even though Cuba has a command economy, it's still very strong. Cuba's economy has a very low unemployment rate (1.8%), a really high literacy rate (99.8%), and an okay GDP of 144.6 billion dollars. This economy's GDP per capita (GDP/Population) is 12,700 dollars. That is $2,400 more than Brazil's! Cuba's economy couldn't be as strong without trade partners! The major ones are: Venezuela, Canada, and The Netherlands. Some imports that these countries give to Cuba are: food, machinery, and petroleum. Of course, Cuba has to give stuff back in return, some of those things are: sugar, nickel, tobacco, and coffee. That is the crazy command economy of Cuba.
The Less Than Fantastic Oil Problem
Venezuela is the home of happiness, super fun times, freedom, nice people, and deadly, killing, fatal oil. Venezuela has had major oil drilling problems since the beginning of time (False). The government has allowed the most populated job, spiral out of control! After all the oil drilling is done, the land is ruined forever. How's that for fantastic!? They need to fix that major problem. Venezuela could easily fix the problem by reducing the amount of oil possible to drill. They could also reduce the amount of people in the job, or they could clean up the land afterward. That would make Venezuela way more fantastic.
Fantastic Sights to See in Less Than Fantastic Cuba
Cuba is the home of beautiful sights to see. There are the the adventurous and tall mountain range of Sierra Maestra. It is so tall, it is over 1950 meters above sea level! The Sierra Maestra mountain range is an extremely rich mountain. It contains minerals like copper and iron.
There is another beautiful sight to see in less than fantastic Cuba, the Zapata Swamp. The Zapata Swamp is located in the southern area of the Cuban province, Matanzas. The swamp contains over 750 plant species, over 150 bird species, and over 25 species of reptiles. Be careful if you visit this remote location!
Morro Castle/Fortress is a top tourist sight in Cuba. It is a colossal building inside the city of Havana, Cuba, right on the bay. It is used as a land mark on maps. It is very fantastic.
Fantastic Facts on Less Than Fantastic Latin America
Latin America contains lots of odd things. One extremely odd thing is that the city, Mexico City sinks about 10 inches every year! That isn't a Average Joe, that's Odd Todd! A city that sinks 10 inches a year! That's impossible, yet possible, yet fantastic. Another Odd Todd that is in Hondurus it actually rains fish between May and June! That's not Average Joe, that's Odd Todd! How can it rain fish! That is fantastic!
Wow. That was crazy. Flying fish, what now? No more McDonalds!? Actually Bolivia was the first Latin Amarica country to trash poor McDonalds. Why would anybody get rid of this terrible tasting popular food!?
Isn't that less than fantastic? No McDonalds!? If you're upset about no more Mcdonalds you should travel to Columbia. Columbia is the happiest country in the entire universe. The sad population is only a tiny 2%. Don't be sad, be happy and fantastic.
These are the last words of everybody's favorite fantastic critic on everything ever. Ever.
