A Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are in the process of wrapping up our JMS 2017-2018 School Improvement Plan. The feedback from those of you who have been able to visit for discussion has been of great value. You all are again invited to join me, this time to see the draft of our plan and share your insights, questions, and suggestions:
- Wednesday, October 11th
- 10:00AM
- Coffee and tea provided
Thank you,
KC Chapman, Principal
Morning Dropoff
- The dropoff line is a single lane of vehicles with no passing on the left.
- Parents and guardians are asked to keep all children in the vehicles until reaching the dropoff spot, where the children are met by a JMS staff member. We ask that students not be allowed to exit the vehicles prior to dropoff, as this presents a safety hazard around and between vehicles.
We thank you for helping keep all of our students safe.
Grandparents and Special-Someones Day
- 9:30-10:30AM for students in Grades 1,2 and 3
- 10:00-11:00AM for students in AM Pre-Kindergarten
- 1:15-2:30AM for students Grades K, 4, 5 and 6
- 2:00-3:00AM for students in PM Pre-Kindergarten
Dismissal Changes
Parents and Guardians, please make every effort contact the office prior to 2:00PM if you need to make a dismissal change. Given the activity in both the classrooms and the main office, end-of-day notifications can contribute to confusion on the part of the students, bus drivers, and staff. We thank you for your attention to this request.
