Where green for Earth Day!
What is Annual Campaign?
The YMCA provides youth leadership opportunities all year around so that children can participate to their fullest potential in an environment that is safe, accessible and welcoming. The YMCA’s Summer Camp provided roughly over 3000+ youth ages 6-12 with the opportunity to dive into areas they love like innovation, community, and culture. August through May the YMCA provided a safe environment for youth to build long-lasting relationships, personal achievement, and an opportunity to complete homework daily on site with confident staff. Through donations we help support families who could not otherwise attend our programming due to financial constraints.
For this year, we will be setting goals based on $10 donated per student. You are more than welcome to donate more, as some families may not be able to donate! We appreciate whatever you can donate! We have been able to provide several Y-Club and Y Summer Camp scholarships to students within the area!
We have certain goal milestones to meet for several prizes! Our main goal will be $400! Our ultimate goal will be $1000!
Event With Annual Campaign
TLA Fundraiser - We will be holding a Fundraiser at TLA nutrition on April 20th from 7AM-3:00PM! When you buy tea, this business will give 2 dollars back to the YMCA! We will also be holding a 50/50 raffle, where you can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win some money! TLA Nutrition address is 12307 Johnson Drive! Please stop in!
Thank you!

Attendance Matters!
Attendance is an important life skill that has a significant impact on student success:
- For elementary students missing 10% of school (approximately 2 days per month), it can impact their ability to stay on grade level in reading and math.
- For middle and high school students, absenteeism can have a significant impact on student achievement and can be a n early indicator of students not graduating from high school.
- On average, BJF students miss fewer than 10 days per school year.
