Student Success Act Community Input Session
HSD will host a Student Success Act (SSA) community input session on Tuesday, January 21, at the Brookwood Library (Event Room) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity to learn about the Student Investment Account (SIA) under SSA and to participate in a hands-on budgeting activity.
In the 2020-21 school year, HSD will receive approximately $16.8M through SIA. The district can use this money to support four areas:
- Class size
- Well-rounded education
- Instructional time
- Student health and safety
Please join us and share their voice in the process of determining how SIA funds will be spent in HSD.
