Biography!!!!
Amelia Earhart was born July 24th,1897 in Atchison, Kansas. Her father was a lawyer and worked for the railroad system. He lost his job when she was 12 due to alcoholism. Ameila was a nurse during WW1. She paid 10 dollars to get into her first air show and that's when she knew she wanted to fly. Once she went to flight school, she quickly became a sensation. Later, Amelia soon became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean.
Impact
Ameila was not the largest impact of the 1920's but she did empower women to follow their dreams. Ameila was an activist for woman and encouraged them to do whatever they please.
