Young People of Integrity...
Productive Leaders of Tomorrow
Mission Statement
Note from the Director:
Dear YPOI Supporter,
Young People of Integrity is elated that we have reached such an incredible milestone of 10 years of service to our community. While we are proud to be celebrating our ten year anniversary, we continue to keep our mission and purpose before us. Young People of Integrity continues to strive to expand our programs and offerings to the youth of our community. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our youth.
It is our mission to be an active leadership development program designed to create positive character and personalities in adolescents. It will teach personal development skills that will help them become successful and productive leaders. In order to meet our mission, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded and forward thinking individuals like you, we wouldn't be able to reach the youth who need to be reached the most. Each year the streets claim more young lives than the year before and we are in a race to make a
difference before it’s too late.
We ask that you make a commitment to support our Annual Appeal by making a donation for our silent auction or by making a cash gift or pledge. This year our goal is to raise $25,000. So far we have raised $13,000 and are looking to you to help us meet our goal. Each year it cost approximately $3500 per child annually. While some of these costs are reduced because of generous in-kind gifts, there is still much need for funding.
Funds raised through our Annual Appeal, provides support for project based, give-back campaigns like Samaritan’s Feet, Share with Sierra Leone, the diversity documentary project, “Calling Catawba County Home”, registration for summer camp and many other activities. In addition, it gives them the opportunity to learn the necessary life skills to be productive citizens while having good volunteer mentors to trust and rely on.
Your donation is an investment in the communities that you live and work in! Your generosity will make a difference by allowing Young People of Integrity to continue its work in the community. We invite you to visit us on our Facebook page and our website, www.youngpeopleofintegrity.org, to see the wonderful contributions that our youth are making in your community. They cannot continue to do so without your help. Please consider making your tax-deductible donation to YPOI by December 31.

Young People of Integrity's Christmas Party
The YPOI youth enjoyed a fun day to celebrate all they have accomplished this year and to kick off holiday celebrations. The festivities included Christmas themed games, arts and crafts and food!! A great time was had by all. Thanks to the YPOI Board of Directors for helping make this awesome day possible.
The 10th Anniversary Diamond Gala was a HUGE Success
A sincere thank you to all of our sponsors, donors and friends who supported Young People of Integrity’s 10th Anniversary Diamond Gala. The gala was a night full of celebration as we took a look back over the last decade remembering all of the strides the program has made. There has been peaks and valleys but YPOI prevailed. We couldn’t have done so without out our supporters. Founder and Director of Young People of Integrity, Chris Johnson shared his story and testimony and how YPOI got started. We look forward to our next annual gathering to celebrate the supporters of Young People of Integrity.
