See breath-taking views, eat delicious food, and visit many exciting locations! Some sites that you could visit are the Anne Frank House, Vondelpark, and the Artis Royal Zoo.
The Anne Frank House
The Anne Frank House is where Anne Frank, her family, and the Van Pels hid from Nazi soldiers for two years. After the war the house was in danger of being demolished, but people protested and the house was then saved and made into a museum. It is now one of the three most popular museums in Amsterdam.
Vondelpark
The Vondelpark is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands and consists of 120 acres of the Vondelpark Openluchttheater, sculptures, a playground, and many horeca facilities. The park was opened in 1865, and gets around 10 million visitors per year.
Artis Royal Zoo
The Artis Royal Zoo is the oldest zoo in Holland and features 750 different species of animals, such as zebras, giraffes, elephants, and chimpanzees. It is also home to 300 species of trees.
The Van Gogh Museum
The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam contains the largest gallery of Van Gogh's paintings in the world. The collection includes more than 200 paintings, drawings, and letters by Van Gogh. The museum is made up of two buildings: the main structure and the Exhibit Wing. Opened in 1973, the museum gets over 1.2 million visitors per year.
