NEED 2 KNOW

JANUARY 5 - VANGUARD PD DAY

On Tuesday, January 5, Fulton County has a Professional Development Day. As members of the Vanguard Team, you will participate in the PD we have designed. And because we're Vanguard, we're thinking outside the box!

PD will take place at various locations throughout Atlanta. Folks will have the option of signing up to visit/tour one of the companies or museums being offered. We will have required pre-learning (which will count towards 2 hours of your PD day!) and time at the end to evaluate and reflect.

We're still confirming a couple of the locations, but as soon as we do, we will allow you (all cohorts!) to pick your PD location. Stay tuned!

VANGUARD TOUR AT THE NEW MCNAIR MIDDLE SCHOOL

Vanguard members will have an opportunity to tour the new McNair MS on Saturday, December 12 from 10:00-1:00. This exciting space represents the future for Personalized Learning environments and we have an innovative staffing opportunity for Vanguard members. Can you imagine teaching with all educators just like you? If that sounds exciting to you, be sure to come for the tour where you'll have a chance to ask questions about this new school model.

Interested?

Visit the link to indicate one of three preferences:

  1. Yes, I'm coming, but just to see the new building.
  2. Yes, I'm coming and am interested in staffing opportunities.
  3. No, I can't come, but I'm interested in staffing opportunities.

ROVING REPORTER

As you are asked questions about Personalized Learning and people want to see specific examples, direct them to the Roving Reporter page on our website. The goal is to continually add videos featuring different aspects of PL and build an incredible video reference bank that can be used to promote Fulton County Schools, the Vanguard Team, Personalized Learning, Education Elements, KSU, the individual schools, and the folks appearing in the clips.
