Tech Tips

As always, we are linking up valuable resources for you and your students.

Think Through Math

We implemented a new computer program TTM (Think Through Math). The concept for this program is called Think30. If you pass 30 lessons on their program, you should be able to pass the math STAAR test. Although the STAAR is over for math, some may have to retest and it still helps them to grow and develop as learners.

– You thought it was just for toddlers? NAH!

This website offers free episodes of its educational programming such as Sesame Street, Wild Kratts, Arthur, Sid the Science Kid, and Curious George! While it does appeal to a younger audience by nature, you would be surprised to find how many of your older elementary children will enjoy it as well! There are also educational games to go along with the shows. What sets this site apart from most other learning sites is that it actually offers science content! WOOHOO! Most children LOVE science, but it is so difficult to find quality resources for games and programs for them. Enjoy!!
