Week 4 Term 4 2022
Kia ora e te whānau,
I hope you all enjoyed the Festive Fun Fair on Saturday. The children worked hard preparing items to sell and looking after the stall.
This week we have swimming coming up on Tuesday. This is at Cannons Creek pool. If you haven't sent in your permission slip you can email amanda@paparangi.school.nz to give your child permission to attend.
Also please return any school readers and library books asap. We appreciate your support on this.
Ngā mihi,
Pounamu Teachers.
Swimming on Tuesday
We will be catching a bus in our groups to Cannons Creek Pool.
Your child will need:
Togs
Towel
Bag for them to go in
Possible extras - spare undies or socks! These can easily get dropped on wet floors
Hairbrush.
We have split the syndicate into 3 groups.
If you would like to know when your child is swimming please email their classroom teacher.
Thanks
Amanda
Wanted!
Year 4 - 2023
We are finalising which teachers will be working with this group. The year 4s are likely to be based in Rooms 4 & 5. They will be working collaboratively together, separately most of the time from the y2/3s. We are looking forward to it being an exciting and challenging year for them.
Covid
We have had a few positive covid cases at school.
Under current Ministry of Health guidelines, positive Covid cases must isolate at home for 7 days, starting at Day 0 on the day that they test positive. if your child tests positive, please contact the office immediately, so that we can work with you to calculate your child's return to school date.
If your child is a Household Contact they must test daily for 5 days from the first positive test result in their house.
We encourage mask wearing to keep everyone safe. Let's keep working together, so we are able to keep school open and fully staffed for the rest of the year.
Hats - Ngā Pōtae/Sunscreen
IF YOU HAVE ANY SPARE WIDE BRIM HATS AT HOME WE WOULD LOVE SOME MORE AT SCHOOL.
If you have a child that needs sunscreen we appreciate it if you could put this on in the morning. We have some spare sunscreen for top ups if needed too.
Toys and Lollies
Lollies are great as a treat but we would prefer them not to be at school.
We appreciate your cooperation with this.
No Nuts!!
We appreciate your co-operation.
