Message from Mrs. Morgan:
The character word of the month for September is Appreciation: Recognizing the worth of someone or something.
At this time with COVID-19 cases still on the rise, therefore all after school events and PTO events will be cancelled and/or postponed. Curriculum night will be cancelled that was scheduled for September 2nd. I will continue to communicate with you as changes occur. Please see link below for COVID-19 Protocols:

A new peanut/tree nut allergy awareness letter will be sent home in Thursday Folders this week. I have also attached it for you to reference. This letter has been updated since the beginning of the year to reflect some hallway changes due to current student allergies located on specific hallways.
Students have been enjoying the new playground purchased with funds raised from Boosterthon last year! Please see picture below of our new playground.
Thank you for your continued support!
Child Safety Matters
Ms. Liddell, school counselor, will start implementing the Child Safety Matters curriculum this month. This program was approved by the Walton County School System to comply with Senate Bill 401.
This law requires annual age-appropriate abuse prevention education in kindergarten through grade 9. Opt out forms were distributed at Open House. If you would like to opt your child out of these lessons, please email Ms. Liddell by Friday, September 3rd. For more information on this program, please visit https://www.mbfpreventioneducation.org/.

In appreciation for your support and sponsorship, your name and/or company logo will be included on our safety patrol apparel.
