Changes in Population size

Birth and Death Rates
Population change over time when individuals join a population or leave a population. The most common way individuals join or leave a population is by being born into it or dying. The words birth rate and death rate are a big part of the changes of the population. The word birth rate means, in a certain amount of time, how many number of births were born into a population. One example is if 10 dogs were born in a year, the birth rate would be 10 young per year. A death rate means, in a certain amount of time, how many numbers of deaths were in a population. One example is if 5 dogs died in a year the death rate would be 5 dead per year.
