MGSD Faculty and Staff
As most all of you have now heard, MGSD is embarking on “The Big REFRESH”.
The Mission of the REFRESH is: "To refocus the mission of Every Child, Every Day to move students and staff to the next level of technology integration with sound instructional practices."
There are many moving parts to the REFRESH, and our goal is to help each and every person as much as possible with the various transitions and new learning opportunities that lie ahead of us. In an effort to make sure everyone is informed, on the same page, and taking the necessary steps to be ready for these transitions, we will be sending a weekly email with steps and/or actions each person needs to take. If you will work a little each week between now and the end of the year, the transitions will be much cleaner and easier.
Each week from now until the end of the school year, you will receive an email link to the weekly newsletter on Sunday evening with a task or helpful hint! It is vital that you all read the newsletters each week to prepare for the upcoming events! We look forward to a REFRESHING Spring in MGSD!!!

REFRESH Vol. 1 - March 2, 2015
By now each faculty member that has a MacBook currently assigned to them should have received an email from technology@mgsd.k12.nc.us asking you to verify the machine that you have. To date, about half of you have done this. The rest of you need to do this ASAP. The email directs you to a Google form to fill in your name and the fixed asset number of your laptop. This is so we can verify our inventory. If you did not get an email, please click the "Laptop Inventory Form" button below and fill in your information. If you do not have a barcode like the image to the right, please click on the Apple in the upper left > About this Mac > and copy and paste the serial number into the Fixed Asset field.
