October Activities
Dear Brooks Families,
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful fall weekend! An enormous thank you goes to Mrs. Sarah Cooley and Mrs. Kim Gough for providing a wonderful Book Fair. Our students were excited about their selections and families had the opportunity to shop together. All proceeds from the Book Fair go right back to our students in the form of new LMC books and Maker Space activities. Thank you for your support!
Over the last several years, Brooks School has been a successful summer stop for the Aurora Public Library Bookmobile. Unfortunately, the Bookmobile has been out of commission for several months due to major repairs. What's even better? A NEW AND IMPROVED BOOKMOBILE! Due to our support, the Bookmobile will make a cameo appearance at Brooks on Monday morning. This will give our students the opportunity to see the Bookmobile from the exterior. The Bookmobile will be back at Brooks next summer! In the interim, I encourage you to use the link below to see upcoming Bookmobile events and activities!
Thank you,
Terri Russell
TRUNK OR TREAT - CANDY NEEDED!
Important Message from PTA! Let's get those candy donations in. We are at roughly 20% of our needs currently and behind where we were last year at this time. To make our trunk or treat successful, we rely on candy donations. Please drop candy in the box in the lobby during school hours or reach out to Amy Linduska (amy.linduska@gmail.com) for porch drop off instructions. We need over 60K pieces of candy to support the expected 700+ attendees for this event! Let's Make It Happen!
