HOMEWORK EACH NIGHT IS TO READ, READ, AND READ SOME MORE.
Reading Homework---Students should be reading 20-25 minutes each night. Some students still do not have their A.R. goal, and should definitely be reading.
We are beginning Sarah Plain and Tall, this week. Students may be asked to read a chapter or two at home.
Vocabulary test on Friday.
Language Arts: We are implementing our Daily 5.
Skills that we will begin to cover this week and following weeks:
v RL3.5—Discuss parts of stories, dramas, and poems using correct terms—chapter, scenes, and stanzas.
v RI3.2—Determine Main Idea of text, recount details and explain how they support the main idea.
v L3.1—Form and use regular and irregular verbs.
Seriously working so hard.
