McClure will be a CLOSED CAMPUS TO ALL VISITORS & VOLUNTEERS FOR STAAR - APRIL 6th
DUE TO STAAR TESTING- This includes lunch visitors, PTO volunteers, classroom volunteers and PALS.
4th Grade Families- A few reminders.
- Eat a good breakfast and get plenty of sleep the night before.
- NO cell phones, Smart Watches or electronics allowed in your testing room. These will be taken up prior to testing and returned once testing is over.
- Be sure to be on time that morning.

McKinney ISD Offering Curbside Grab-and-Go Meals
We are pleased to announce free curbside grab-and-go meals will be available at Finch Elementary on the dates below. Please include this information in your principal newsletter going out this week, as this coming Monday, February 1st, will be one of these days.

Breakfast 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM (Breakfast pickup will also include that day’s lunch. Parents can instead come just for lunch at lunchtime if desired.)

Pick up in driveway off Graham St.
These meals are free, but parents will need to present either a valid student ID number, student name, or other proof they are picking up for a student 18 years old or younger.

Important Reminders From Our Nurse
As we continue our school year in 2021 please keep in mind our COVID-19 guidelines. I appreciate everything you do to keep our students healthy!
Please screen your student daily, prior to arriving on campus, for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 including:
Feeling Feverish or Fever (100.0 or greater)
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Cough
Fatigue (Excessively tired)
Significant muscle or body aches
Headache
Loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Chills
If your student has a COVID-19 test or has symptoms of COVID or has contact with someone who has tested positive please keep them at home and contact Nurse Megan.
Just a reminder that responses to emails send after school hours may not be returned until the next school day. The process to switch a student into virtual learning for an extended absence is a process that may take up to a day to complete.

Friendly Attendance Reminders
Attendance is taken daily at 8:15am. Students can be counted tardy up until 9:15am.
