What is the Panama Canal?
The panama canal is the water passage between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Because of our technology advances and commercial pressure advanced to the point where construction started in the eastern. This bridge was to be known as the Panama Canal in 1913 and officially opened in 1914.
The Flag
The stars and quarters are said to stand for the rival political parties, and the white for the peace in which they operate. Blue was the colour of the Conservatives, and red the colour of the Liberals
Effects on Panama through Imperialism
When the Panama Canal was made, there was little attention paid to the local environment. During the making the eastern side of the canal become very dry. The water was needed by local farmers. This caused an endless demand for the supply of water.
