Lots of love Mr Tomlinson, Mr Brown and Miss Hale x x x
We hope that you’re all safe and healthy at home with your parents and carers. It’s a strange time so we hope that you’re finding lots of things to do that you enjoy. Hopefully it won’t be long until we’re all back together at school but until then we want you all to let us know what you’re up to on Twitter so that we can dish out some housepoints!! So if you’ve been helping out at home, doing your work, using your manners or have been up to anything that you feel proud of, let us know!
We also want to make sure that you're showing your support for Drake at home so send us your pictures of something blue. Every picture will be worth 5 housepoints!

Mrs Storey and Mr Earl
Welcome to the weekly Eco Schools update. Each week there will be some fun ideas for you to try at home based on one of the current themes we are focussing for our Eco Schools award:
· Energy usage
· Biodiversity (The variety of plant and animal life living in an area)
This week, we are looking at how to attract more wildlife into your garden at home.
Building a Bug Hotel is a great way to provide a safe place for lots of different small animals (such as Frogs and Toads), insects (including woodlice and earwigs) and spiders to live.
Below are some photos we have taken from our gardens or Local Parks/ Playing fields while out on a walk for our daily exercise this Easter.
Why not send us a tweet of your best wildlife photos!
"get outside and enjoy the sunshine"

IT Tips and Hints
Mr Earl's IT tips and hints
Mr Earl's top tip.
Sometimes you just need half an hour, this can mean screen time however don't worry. There are ways of protecting children, did you know Youtube has a kids version where content is monitored. https://www.youtube.com/kids/ there is a dedicated app too.
Android - Google playstore link
Apple - Apple store link
Depending on your device you can also lock the device to one app so they can't close the app and go onto another game, useful if you want them to play a particular game or app (phonics game etc)
Android uses screen pinning, for info on how this works check out this tutorial
Apple uses guided access, for info on how this works check the link
Food For Life
Mrs Storey's Recipe of the week!
With the weather being lovely what a lovely fruity desert this would be.
