A Message from Dr. Stone
Good afternoon!
Congratulations to our 7th Grade Boys Basketball B Team - they are District Champs this year! Our other basketball teams had great seasons too, and we're proud that they all represented WoodCreek so well this season - Go Timberwolves!
We are very thankful to everyone who donated to Team Woodstock for the Katy Education Foundation's Reason2Race - our team raised $9,800 and was third place overall! District-wide, the Katy Education Foundation raised over $111,400! These funds will go straight back into our schools through grants made to Katy ISD's great teachers.
We'll start the 5th Six Weeks next Tuesday - enjoy the long weekend!
Regards,
Dr. Melinda Stone

WCJH VALENTINE'S DAY GUIDELINES
We know Valentine’s Day is a special day for many of our students and parents. However, in order to provide a safe and effective learning environment with limited distractions, we will maintain our standard practice for items brought to school as well as deliveries.
Please find below some of these practices:
- No student gift drop-off by parents or others.
- Balloons will not be allowed in the hallways or classrooms.
- All items brought to school need to be able to fit into a standard student backpack.
- All items brought to school must be school appropriate according to the Katy ISD Student Code of Conduct.
- Any item that becomes a disruption to the learning environment will be confiscated until the end of the day.
We want to thank everyone for helping us maintain a great learning environment for our students.

AP Human Geography Summer Bridge Program
Students entering 9th grade in the fall of 2020 who have selected AP Human Geography during course selection are strongly encouraged to complete the Summer Bridge Program. The program consists of an online skills component and a face-to-face writing workshop. The program does not impact GPAs. To assist students in the program, AP Human Geography teachers will maintain summer office hours.
For more information visit https://tinyurl.com/APHumanSummer2020
What is it? The AP Human Geography Summer Bridge Program is an optional course that provides students with the background knowledge and skills to better access course content, and ultimately be more successful in the course and on the AP exam. A face-to-face writing workshop is part of the program to support writing in AP Human Geography. This is not a graded course that will impact a student’s GPA.
How long will the course take? The online portion of the Summer Bridge Program is designed to be completed within 2 weeks. Students have the option to complete either Session 1: June 8-19, 2020 OR Session 2: July 13-24, 2020 and will indicate their choice during registration. The writing workshop dates will be provided during registration.
What is the cost? This course is grant funded; there is no charge.
