Mrs. Jessica & Mrs Denise's Class
What we've been up to this week
October 28-31
Monday we learned the nursery rhyme "Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater"
The class enjoyed taking turns putting Peter's wife in and out of the pumpkin.
We also worked together to make pumpkin muffins. Yummy! Everyone enjoyed this treat!
Tuesday we practiced matching small plastic pumpkins in the correct bowl and feeding our little jack o lantern one pumpkin each. This is helping them learn one to one correspondence.
We also made pumpkin shaped pizzas. I love how the children enjoy making things.
Wednesday we had a blast at our annual fall parade. The children did so well! I think a fun time was had by all. :)
We also planted flowers in our pumpkins. Sorry for all the dirt that went home on the clothes! They really enjoyed filling the pumpkins with dirt. :)
Thursday we learned about Joshua and the battle of Jericho. All the kids know we can always count on GOD!
COMING UP
November is here!
This month we are learning new letters, a new shape, and a new number!
Monday- Don't forget to have your child dress in brown and bring in a brown show and tell.
We will learn all about Gordo Gorilla and letter G.
Wednesday we will have Letter G show and tell.
Our new Bible verse for the month is "Be kind and loving to each other."
Ephesians 4:32
We will learn how to sing our verse with a song I learned as a child. :) Music makes everything more fun!
