It's a superhero theme this year and we have all sorts of super events planned.

Mesa Public Library is pleased to present its first
Mesa Views Photography Exhibit featuring the winners of our Mesa Views: Photography Contest, held in celebration of National Photography Month 2015. Winning photographs will be on display from May 30 through July 31 at the Main Library. Join us in recognizing the contest winners at the exhibit’s opening reception, light refreshments will be served.

Teen Fan Fiction Contest
Write an original fan fiction story with a copyrighted
character in the main plot and enter our contest.
Rules:
- Only one entry per contestant.
- Fan Fiction may include original characters, but Fan Fiction must contain a copyrighted character in the main plot.
- Fan Fiction cannot be longer than 2,500 words.
- Entries can be submitted at any Mesa Public Library Branch .
- or through email: erin.lorandos@mesaaz.gov
- Use only your own work, you will be disqualified if you are found plagiarizing.
- Fan Fiction must include a disclaimer, if you have questions please ask at the library.
- And, Have Fun!!
- Entries accepted June 1st - June 30th. The winner will be announced at the end of the Summer Reading Program!

Home Coffee Roasting @Main Library
Mesa's own Lost Dutchman Coffee House expert joins us for a discussion of all things coffee, including how to roast your own beans at home. Learn about coffee characteristics including how it is affected by soils, climate, processing, and roasting. At the conclusion of the program, we will be raffling off bags of green coffee beans so you can try out your new skills at home.
