What is an endangered species?
An endangered species is a type of animal that is considered to be at risk of getting extinct. Meaning that there is a few left of there species and that species could be extinct.

Western Lowland Gorilla
These western lowland gorillas are smaller and lighter then an average gorilla. They live in a rainforest of Central
Africa. There amount of family members are between 4-8. These gorillas are mainly herbivorous. Western lowland gorillas are endangered. Why are they endangered? Well there are 3 threats to the gorillas. Which is that they are being hunted, their habitats get destroyed and they have had diseases.
Asian Elephant
The Asian elephant is the only living species of the genus elephas. These elephants live in Nepal, India and southeast Asia in scrub forests and rain forests.The main reason that Asian Elephants are endangered is habitat loss. They are cutting down there habitat for wood.
