Alta Mesa Parent Newsletter (12/6/20)

Christmas Time Is Getting Close!!!

Alta Mesa Families,

Even as we continue to persevere through the challenges of COVID-19 this time of year has positive energy to it. As I see different google classroom sessions with our students everyone is so excited about the Holiday season. Our teachers are working hard to bring normalcy to our students in any way they can. As we draw nearer to the break I encourage all of our families, in whatever way you choose, to take the time to enjoy this Holiday season. Be safe and be joyous with your family as even in these times there is much to be thankful for.

I hope the first week of distance learning went well for our families. This may not be the type of instruction that we all wish for, but it is still highly beneficial to our students. Please continue to partner with our teachers in helping your students log on and participate in our distance learning and online meets.

As we go through the Holiday season I want to encourage our Alta Mesa families to continue to be diligent about health and safety procedures. It's important as a community that we work together to drive the spread of COVID-19 down. This is important not only for our families but our schools and community as well.

Thank you for your continued partnership Alta Mesa Families! Stay Healthy! Remember to wear your mask!

Alta Mesa Holiday Craft Show!!!

Alta Mesa Families!

We are excited to announce that through the Holiday Season we will be hosting an Alta Mesa Holiday Craft Show. On Wednesday-Friday at 1 pm each week a teacher will be guiding a fun craft project through Facebook Live. Families are welcome to follow along together and make the projects at home, or you can just watch for the fun of it! Every week in our newsletter we will list the items needed for each project and the schedule of when each teacher will be doing their "show." You may have many of the items already at home. You know it's going to be fun! See below for this week's projects!
