SPPS Return to School Announcement
SPPS is planning to bring some students back for full-time in-person learning on Monday, February 1, starting with our young learners.
On Monday, February 1, the following students will begin full-time in-person learning at Capitol Hill:
- 1st and 2nd Grade
On Tuesday, February 16, the following students will begin full-time in-person learning at Capitol Hill:
- 3rd -5th grade
If you have already enrolled in Virtual Learning School (VLS) and wish to change to go back to in-person instruction, contact the SPPS Student Placement Center at 651-632-3760 or by email at spc@spps.org.
We are working on a plan to bring back some middle school students for academic and social emotional support as well. This will not be the same as hybrid or fully returning to school. We will have more information on this plan as well soon.

Project REACH Blanket and Coat Drive
Project REACH's 11th Annual Blanket and Coat Drive has begun. Please consider donating NEW blankets and coats to Project REACH for our families and students experiencing homelessness.
Contact anne.mcinerney@spps.org to coordinate a drop off/pick up or with any questions. Drive ends January 11, 2021.
