The biomes contained in the Mediterranean are mostly evergreen shrubs and sclerophillous trees in most cases but some can contain biomes such as forests, woodlands and deserts. This climate zone has moist winters and good soil for growing but can have hot dry summers as well.
Location
The Mediterranean climate zone can be found on the coast of many countries and places such as California, Chilena, Capensic, and the coast of Australia. Because of the moist winters and dry summers, it is located on the coast of many countries.
Description
The Mediterranean climate zone can have many summer droughts but can also have very moist winters with much precipitation. This climate zone is located between 30 degrees and 50 degrees latitude. This climate zone has much fertile soil and has a very long growing season.
