(speech) religious freedom on Muslims

"I am a fourteen year old who came to this Country when i was younger ,really hoping for a change not only a better environment , but better people . I thought when i came to this country things would change for me and my family . That i would no longer feel controlled or worry about what i believe in . But sadly its not . Of course i'm grateful for the chance to be able to become a citizen of The United States ,but Still i feel that what i wear , or what my beliefs are effect how others treat me ."

Question : What is the difference between

Islam is the name of a religion, as Christianity and Judaism are names of religions. The Arabic word “Islam” is based on the root “slm,” which means peace or surrender to God. Putting both translations together results in the combined meaning “the state of peace through following God’s guidance.”

Islamic modifies a non-human noun, as for example, “Islamic art,” “Islamic architecture,” “Islamic beliefs,” etc. This term should not be used to refer to a person.

A follower of Islam is called a Muslim, or “one who is in a state of peace by following God’s guidance.”

While the term Arab has been used in the past to refer to members of a Semitic ethnic group from the Arabian Peninsula, today the word “Arab” refers to people from Arabic-speaking countries, most of which are in the Middle East and North Africa. The term Arabian was historically used to describe an inhabitant of the Arabian Peninsula. Today “Arabian” is used as to describe a non-human noun (Arabian coffee); it should not be used to refer to people.

Prayers

In this paragraph i am going to show you the way the Buddhists show respect or in other words pray to their Buddha .

There are different types of prayers given to their Buddha such as

Earth Prayer

Prayer for peace

Water Flows

Over cherry Blossoms Etc.

When you begin most people want a certain familiar scent , and make burn a candle

then they begin Mantras that are simply phrases meant to be repeated over and over again. You do not need to know their full meanings, as the words themselves, through repetition, lose their "meaning" and help you avoid distraction.

After this You begin praying about whatever you feel .

When this is done , you blow out the candles or what some people do is repeat your mantras or what your thankful for and finish up .
