Timberwolf Times
Volume 5, Issue 23 - January 22nd, 2023
A Message from Dr. Lowry
Timberwolf Family,
It has been another great week at WCJH! The highlight event this week was announcing our Rookie Teacher of the Year and our Teacher of the Year. Our 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year is Mr. Rob Hall, and our Rookie Teacher of the Year is Ms. Dominique Yon. Please take some time to congratulate them on this outstanding accomplishment.
Additionally, I want to thank all our incoming 6th Grade parents that joined us this past Thursday. We hope that the session was very informative, and your student is excited about starting their junior high experience.
In this week’s Timberwolf Times, you will find important information regarding our process for course selections for the 2023-2024 school year. In addition, you will find information about events this week such as, Orchestra and Band Coffee House Concerts, Digital Citizenship Week, and girls’ and boys’ basketball. Furthermore, you will see information concerning Katy HS Academic Fair, Tompkins HS 8th Grade Parent Night, and our end of year 8th Grade Snow Ball Celebration.
Finally, this week our amazing PTA will be hosting a Healthy Trolley for our teachers and Fun Food Friday for the students. Make sure you pre-order your students' lunch before the deadline. Information is also included on how to sign up to volunteer and/or donate items for these events. Thank you, PTA!
Here’s to another great week! GO TIMBERWOLVES!
