Dark Matter Project

What is dark matter?
Nonluminous material that is postulated to exist in space and could take any of several forms including weakly interacting particles ( cold dark matter) or high energy randomly moving particles created soon after the big bang ( hot dark matter).
What clues do scientists have that Dark matter exists?
By fitting a theoretical model of the composition of the universe to the combined set of cosmological observation, scientists have come up with the composition.
What does WIMP mean?
An acronym for weakly interacting massive particles.
Dark matter neither emits nor absorbs light or any other electromagnetic radiation at any significant level.
The most widely accepted explanation for these phenomena is that dark matter exists and that is is most probably composed of (WIMP) that interact only through gravity and the nuclear weak force.
Is WIMP an accurate description of the dark matter particles?
Although they are called WIMPS, because they are a nuclear force and have a large mass in my opinion they are not wimpy.
