MARINER WEEKLY!

Congratulations to our girl's varsity Cross Country team for winning the South Jersey Group 4 state championship this past weekend. It was a clean sweep for the Lady Mariners winning the overall team title and having the overall individual winner, Jessica Abbott. This was the first time in program history our girls took home the team title as well as the individual title. Our state championship team consists of Freshman Jessica Abbott who ran a school record 18:03 to lead us to victory, Olivia Nickelsen, Adriana Escaleria, Sabrina Roselli, Claudia Silletti, and our two seniors Jed Juliano and Jenna Spadaro whose dedication has carried us throughout the year. Congratulations ladies, this is quite an accomplishment.

Congratulations to our varsity Football team on their 49-7 victory over Old Bridge High School in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 5 playoffs this past Friday. The Mariners welcome Marlboro High School this Friday evening at 6pm in the next round. Good Luck!

Please be sure to check your child's cafeteria account balance. Any unpaid outstanding balance will be converted to an obligation. Students with outstanding obligations will not receive their diploma and will not be permitted to attend the Junior and Senior Prom.

November is Homeless Awareness Month. Ocean's Harbor House is holding their 3rd annual A Walk in Their Shoes to build awareness for children and families who are experiencing homelessness.

The deadline to choose your yearbook pose is November 9th. If you do not choose a pose by this date, Lors will automatically choose one for you. We are currently accepting donations to help families in the Fort Myers, Florida area as they work to overcome the devastation of Hurricane Ian. We are working directly with the Athenian Academy Charter School of Fort Myers. All donations will be sent to the school and will be distributed directly to families in need. Each year our Guidance Department welcomes recruiters from colleges and universities from all over the country. This a a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about schools they may be interested in and to ask any questions they may have.
