Morning Message

- Say the words in the morning message, tapping your knees for each word. Count the words. Have children count the words.
- Write the sentence. Point to each word each word as you read it Encourage children to say the words.
- Point to the letters N and O and circle the ones in the sentence. . Review the letters F and M.

Homes for Everyone
Turn to page 22 and discuss the tree house. It is an unusual type of house. Unusual means something we don't see very often.
Turn to pages 20 and 21. Discuss temporary homes such as tents and small travel trailers. Temporary homes are homes we stay in for a small amount of time.

Questions to ask:
Is a tree house a permanent house or temporary? Why?
When would you be scared if you lived in a tree house? (During a storm)
What would you miss most if you spent the night in a tent?
