Healthy Kids is a five-week youth running series for girls and boys ages 2-14, designed to provide a positive and fun introduction to running. Our program is set to take place Sundays, beginning April 16, 2023 at 4:00PM at the Aston Community Center fields. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids compete each week for a chance to earn points. At the end of the Series the boys and girls who accumulate the most points in their respective distances are awarded trophies. All participants receive a medal on Week 5!

St. Joe’s Parish is starting a youth program called Alpha Youth Group. It is for students in grades 8 through 12 and the program emphasizes our faith over a series of nine meetings. Each meeting begins with a meal, followed by a presentation with a discussion. It is a great opportunity for our children. Any 8th grade student who participates will receive a dress down each week. At Holy Family, our number one priority will always be the safety of our students, staff, and families. We have seen an increase number of positive cases among students the last three days. Nothing to panic about, but we must make sure we are following proper protocols and taking necessary precautions. If we do not work together, we may be facing a mask mandate and/or possible virtual days if the numbers continue to rise.

As a reminder, our COVID Policy is below. So, please make sure you monitor for symptoms.

Everyone will follow the same procedures regardless of their vaccination status.

If you are exposed to someone who is positive with COVID-19

- There is no quarantine period, but masks will be strongly recommended.

If you live with a person(s) who has tested positive for COVID-19

- There is no quarantine period, but masks will be required. The length of time will be confirmed by Nurse Victoria.

If you test positive for COVID-19

- You must contact Nurse Victoria immediately. You will isolate for at least 5 days and be able to return after that time period if you are free of fever and your overall symptoms have improved. Nurse Victoria will confirm your return date and when you will be able to return to being mask optional.
