Hi, everyone! I hope you and your families are all healthy and doing well! My family and I have been trying to enjoy the time we have together - lots of walks with our dogs, working in the yard, and playing games. I miss all of you very much and hope to see you soon!

My younger kids and I made bubble foam the other day and even though they are older they still had a ball playing with it in the bath tub with cars and bath toys. I bet the toddlers and preschoolers would like it too!

Hello to all our families! You are all in my thoughts daily! I am missing playing and learning together! I hope you are finding time to read some books, sing some songs, and maybe even do an art project or sensory play on your home days. I am spending time in my yard, getting ready to plant some vegetables. I hope you can get out in the sunshine and exercise your strong muscles! I am wishing that you and your family and friends are well and look forward to another school day in the future. Love from Teacher Laurie

Hello from my house to yours. I am missing everyone so much. I miss your smiles, giggles, singing and having you all to play with each day. I have been keeping busy with taking walks and looking at nature and listening to all the sounds. I am also learning how to use the computer better! Teacher Jeanette needs to take a computer class. Look forward to connecting through newsletter again.

Meals for students

Meals for students

  • Meals are available for any child under 18 years old who needs breakfast or lunch during the school closure. Parents/guardians do NOT need to bring their student(s) with them to pick up meals. Multiple days' worth of meals will be distributed. Please check here frequently for updates.

Meals will be distributed curbside at the main entrance of these sites between 10 a.m. and noon on Mondays and Wednesdays:

    • Pinewood Elementary - 5500 Quincy Street, Mounds View
    • Snail Lake Education Center - 350 Hwy 96 W, Shoreview
    • Highview Middle School - 2300 7th Street NW, New Brighton
    • Edgewood Middle School - 5100 Edgewood Drive N, Mounds View

If you cannot make it to a school site for curbside pick up, neighborhood pick up locations will also be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This interactive map will direct you to the most convenient pick up location. Meals will be delivered by bus/van to these locations.

If you have any questions about meals during school closures, call your school directly
