Principal's Message to 8th graders- May 18, 2020

8th grade scholars I am filled with Pride and admiration for all our students promoting today. Our journey together has been filled with many great memories. Although our year was cut short, we had a great year full of many exciting events, from service projects to Leadership Events that highlighted our school. It’s hard to believe that you are now moving on to a new school, possibly a new state or country. As military children you possess such strong leadership qualities of resilience, compassion and perseverance. You know what it’s like to be the new kid on the block.

I am proud to have been given the opportunity to be part of your educational journey. Here at San Onofre School, we have worked hard, to prepare you for college and your chosen careers. When I say “we” I mean you, your parents, your teachers and all staff here at San Onofre School. Our goal has been to build a strong academic foundation while preparing you to compete in the 21st century global economy: I am sure your parents are proud of your accomplishments, as I am.

We wish you the best, good luck, good travels, and on behalf of San Onofre staff I wish all our Promoting 8th grade students and to all our families the very best. Congratulations to the Class of 2020.
