Benefits of being President
The overall salary of the President is about $400,000. Some benefits include a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and $19,000 for certain entertainment purposes. The most recent raise for the President was approved by Congress and put into affect in 2001.
Current Challenges
The President of the U.S. Should have a plan for the different current issues. Like immigration reform. Immigration has been a big and popular debate on the presidential campaign for 2016. To propose a plan for this you must have a realistic, knowledgable, and timely plan. We should only be allowing immigrants with a clear and full background check. We should be checking before anyone enters the U.S. that they will not have any harm to us. With the previous terrorist acts we thought we were clear of immigrants but we clearly were not. Certain acts like 9/11, the Boston bombing, and much more attacks could have been prevented if we paid more attention to who these people were and if we were aware of the issues immigrants can put on us. To help solve the issues of immigration the president can be able to delegate tasks for different people. They need to be knowledgeable and trustworthy so that we know that our leader has the best interest to keep everyone safe.
