First Week of School Reminders
The first official day of school is today, Monday January 5th.
If you are a section 1 teacher, please contact students following the 18 week and 16 week schedules by sending them a welcome email and phone call. The current welcome email template and phone call checklist are both located under "Spring 2015 course setup" in the Teacher Forum. As you begin making your calls, please encourage students to complete the Student Orientation Course and move into their courses.
Contact new students as they appear on your class rosters, and welcome them with an email and phone call.
Note: A time saving way to identify new students is to download the excel file in TheSiS. The excel file will allow you to filter and sort by date of enrollment and reorganize from new to old.
Release grades (Eyeballs in gradebook) as students move into your course from the SOC. http://screencast.com/t/aZkmVkLnUR
Check your roster in Thesis and contact 18 week students who have not completed SOC by Tuesday morning.
**If you haven't received a course for the semester, please hang in there. Enrollments are growing, and we anticipate these courses to open within the coming weeks. **
