Quick Reminders

FRESHMEN CLASS AND PARENTS: On Monday, Sept. 11 there will be a class meeting in the student center at 6:00 pm. Please make plans to attend.



It's never to late to join the Granger ISD Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The first meeting is September 25th @ 7:00pm in the school cafeteria. Any questions? Please email grangerpto@gmail.com

Sophomores will be taking ASVAB test on the morning of Wednesday, September 20th.

Student Council News

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month


Student Council has Gold Ribbons for Go 4/the Gold Ribbons available for donations, which will go to curing Childhood/Pediatric Cancer. See any Student Council member of Ms. Hughes to make your donation and proudly wear your GOLD RIBBON


Also, this Friday, September 8th Granger Student Council will be passing buckets in the home stands and Holland stands for donation to Childhood Cancer Research.

Wanted: Broken Crayons

Ms. Baker's class will be doing a project with crayons. If you have used crayons you do not want anymore, please drop off in her class or the library. Mrs. Griffis will make sure she gets them. Thank you!

Don't forget your fellow Texans who will continue to deal with the devastation and loss caused by Hurricane Harvey. A shout out to all who have donated, volunteered, and showed the world coming together makes us better.

Elementary will start coming to the library this week but will not check out books until next week. Secondary hit the ground running getting laptops, calculators, and books last week to prepare for the school year.

Senior Class Kona Ice Sales are 9/12, 10/3, 11/7, 3/6, 4/3. All of these are the first Tuesdays.

Cheerleaders are selling spirit ribbons, temporary spirit tattoos, Lion Pride buttons, Thunder sticks, pom poms.


The week of Sept. 29th only, cheerleaders will sell Homecoming ribbons for $2.00.
