Please Plan to Join us for this exciting event for our Parents and Students-Take the quick survey below
We are Excited about our 4th Annual College and Career Carnival on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 9:00 am until 1pm! As a middle and high school, we expose students to a variety of occupations and learning experiences.
We are developing a list of professionals willing to display an exhibit of their company/college for a body of students at our upcoming Carnival. We are asking each business participant to bring (if possible, not required) “take aways” for our students. These could include items such as notepads, pens, pencils, lanyards, or any small items that you may have available.
Lastly, we are asking that you complete a short survey, as this will assist in the planning of our event. The link is http://tinyurl.com/warlickcarnival2014
Please do not hesitate to contact our School Counselor, Mrs. Tims, with any questions or concerns. Feel free to call at 704-836-9608 or email jmtims@gaston.k12.nc.us
Many thanks and we look forward to working with you!

WHY DO WE DO THIS?
Amidst all of the negative social pressures that influence our children, it is important that we work as a community to prepare our youth to be responsible, productive citizens. With the help of our outstanding staff, magnificent students, and YOU, we know the College and Career Carnival will be a success!
The overall goal of the Carnival at Warlick is to help young people prepare for their transition into the workforce by providing assistance in career planning. It will also help students understand what steps to take to gain entry into the field of their choice.
