Equipment Request Window
We are re-opening the equipment, curriculum, and software request window. You can now fill out the request form and turn it into your department chair or magnet coordinator.
What does this mean?
Anyone who did not put in a request before the end of the 2018-2019 school season can make their request. This includes new teachers and existing teachers who need additional items. Please do not re-submit requests, as it confuses the process. We have reviewed all the received requests from May 2019 and will send you email updates, so you know the status of your order.
What next?
Fill out the attached form and turn it into your department chair or magnet coordinator by September 25, 2019. Department chairs, please PONY or drop off original documents to CAST Med, CTE Office once they have been collected.
CTE Math and Science Training
Any teacher teaching any of the below courses must be in compliance by completing the required Texas Gateway Training. Every teacher teaching these courses should provide a copy of their certificate of completion by 8/26/19 to Tamara Ford in CTE Department.
All educators teaching one of the CTE math or CTE science courses that meet a high school graduation requirement (listed below) must complete a math or science professional development course. TEA provides these courses on the Texas Gateway Online Resources site at no cost to the educator or school district.
